Finding Light in the Darkness
Trusting God When the Path is Unclear
There are times when God allows us to experience seasons of darkness—not as a punishment, but as a part of His greater plan. In these moments, our natural response may be to seek quick fixes or try to create our own light. However, God invites us to trust Him even when we don’t understand.
Rather than resisting the darkness, we can embrace it as an opportunity to rely on God. When we surrender control and trust in His timing, we allow Him to shape us, strengthen our faith, and bring forth something far greater than we could imagine.
Bible Verse
“Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant? Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God.”
— Isaiah 50:10 (NIV)
Even when we can’t see the way forward, we can trust that God is leading us. The darkness is not permanent—it is a season where God is working behind the scenes for our good.
Quote of the Day
“Don’t try to create some light to get out of it, because you don’t know what I’m working on in the darkness. You don’t know what I’m trying to do. God said, I just need you to be quiet for a moment.”
Sometimes, silence and stillness in the darkness allow us to hear God more clearly. He is doing something greater than we can see—we just need to be still and trust Him.
Reflection Question

Even in the darkest moments, God’s light is near. Trust Him, wait patiently, and know that He is working all things together for your good.
